For this project, I was tasked with creating a calendar for June 2021 themed around “Nice to meet you”. In 2020, we all met virtually due to the pandemic, and as we entered 2021, there was a sense of hope, positivity, enthusiasm, kindness, and self-awareness. These themes guided the creation of the artwork for the June 2021 Calendar, focusing on concepts like existence, togetherness, community, bonding, strength, balance, courage, peace, joy, co-creation, positive vibes, fearlessness, sunshine, and new connections.
The calendar design features vibrant colors and a clean font for the dates, with a more decorative font for the month of June. It includes the Chinese zodiac animal for the year, the ox, and highlights important dates of the month. Careful selection of these elements ensured the calendar is both legible and visually appealing.
